Dennis,
Your words of encouragement yesterday have resulted in LOADS of great activity related to my work.
Kim Cameron posted my stuff on his site (see: http://www.identityblog.com) and I'm now in touch with Ben Hyde of Apache Foundation fame (he has lots of "Liberty" experience) in addition Eric Norlan has agreed to contribute where he can. And now this!
Thanks so much for the support! All this activity is extremely energizing!

P.S. My thinking/blogging about "DistributedOpenSourceFinancing" was the impetus for the legal topic that I've chosen. However, I've come to realize that that vision as far too speculative for serious contemplation at this point. As I've learned since posting those comments, there are many near term challenges that have to be addressed before such a vision might be realized, not the least of which are issues related to "Open Standards", thus my current focus.
